Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Here's exactly what we collect — and what we don't.
📋 Privacy at a Glance
Your Discord token stays in your browser only
No registration, no email, no personal data
We only increment an anonymous server-clone count
No Google Analytics, no tracking pixels
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how DiscordCloner ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our website at cyerox.fun and our Discord server cloning tool ("Service").
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our tool is designed from the ground up with privacy in mind — it operates entirely client-side, and we collect the absolute minimum information necessary to provide the Service.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
To be explicit about our privacy practices, the following data is never collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers:
- Discord tokens: Your token is entered in the browser, used to make direct API calls to Discord's servers, and never sent to us
- Discord account information: Your username, email, user ID, or any profile data
- Server IDs: The source and destination server IDs you enter are not logged on our side
- Server content: Any roles, channels, emojis, or other server data fetched during cloning stays in your browser session only
- Personal identification information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information
- Payment information: The tool is free; we process no payments directly (donations go through Buy Me a Coffee)
- IP addresses tied to personal data: While our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may log IP addresses as part of standard CDN operation, we do not access or store these for any purpose
3. Information We Do Collect
3.1 Anonymous Server Clone Counter
When you successfully complete a cloning operation, the Service sends an anonymous POST /api/increment request to our Cloudflare Worker backend. This request contains:
- No personal data
- No server IDs
- No Discord tokens
It simply increments a global counter by 1. The counter is displayed on the homepage as a community statistic. This data cannot be traced back to any individual user.
3.2 Ad View Tracking (Optional)
If a corner advertisement is displayed and viewed, an anonymous POST /api/ad-view request may be sent to log which ad configuration version was shown. This contains:
- The ad configuration version identifier (a string)
- No personal data or user identifiers
3.3 LocalStorage (Client-Side Only)
Your browser's localStorage is used to store:
- Theme preference (dark/light mode) — stored as
dc_theme - Clone history — the last 10 source/destination server ID pairs you used, stored locally on your device as
dc_history - Counter cache — a locally cached copy of the global server count (
dc_global_count)
This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings or by clicking "Clear History" in the tool.
4. How We Use Information
The minimal data we collect is used solely to:
- Display the global "Servers Cloned" statistic on the homepage
- Track ad impression counts for sponsored content management
- Improve the Service based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns
We do not use any data for targeted advertising, user profiling, or selling to third parties.
5. Cookies
DiscordCloner does not set any cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set technical cookies necessary for CDN operation and DDoS protection. These are outside our control and are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Google AdSense (if active on the page) may set cookies for ad personalization. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with the following third-party services:
- Discord API — All cloning operations use Discord's REST API directly from your browser. Your use of the Discord API is subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — Our website and API are hosted on Cloudflare Pages and Workers. Cloudflare's infrastructure processes your requests. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Font Awesome — Icons are loaded from Cloudflare CDN (
cdnjs.cloudflare.com). This is covered by Cloudflare's policy. - Google AdSense — If ads are served, Google may collect data for ad delivery and personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Buy Me a Coffee — Donation processing for the "Donate" feature. Governed by their privacy policy.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.
8. Data Security
Given our minimal data collection approach, security risks are inherently low. We do not store sensitive personal data on our servers. The anonymous counter data is stored in Cloudflare's KV storage with no personally identifiable fields.
However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect any data we do handle, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We retain the global clone counter value indefinitely (it only increments, it's a public statistic). Ad view counts are retained for operational purposes for up to 90 days. No personally identifiable data is retained because none is collected.
Your local browser data (theme preference, clone history) is retained until you clear it manually or clear your browser's localStorage.
10. Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data, traditional data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure) largely do not apply. However:
- You can clear your local clone history and preferences at any time by clicking "Clear History" in the tool or clearing localStorage in your browser settings
- You can disable cookies in your browser settings to opt out of any third-party cookies
- For residents of the EU/EEA: We do not process personal data in ways that would require a GDPR legal basis, as we do not collect personal data
- For California residents: We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA
11. International Data Transfers
Our Service is hosted on Cloudflare's global CDN. Your browser's API calls to Discord go directly to Discord's servers. The anonymous counter requests are processed by Cloudflare Workers. This may involve processing in various countries. Cloudflare maintains appropriate data transfer mechanisms under applicable privacy laws.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
